A relaxing tropical paradise with lush landscaping, waterfalls and colorful birds awaits guests at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

The 853-room Polynesian-themed resort features 11 two- and three-story longhouses situated on the white sandy beach across the serene Seven Seas Lagoon from the Magic Kingdom.

Recently renovated guest rooms feature a tropical motif complete with exotic prints and bamboo-style fixtures. Standard rooms offer two queen-size beds and a day bed, sleeping five. Suites can accommodate from four to six persons.

The deluxe resort connects to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot via monorail, with bus transportation to Disney Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Guests will experience paradise in the Pacific at the Polynesian Revue, where a cast of Polynesian dancers entertains guests at a festive luau. The menu includes delicacies such as island pork, an authentic Hawaiian favorite; lanai roasted chicken; fresh sautéed vegetables and a Polynesian dessert.

Its two themed pools, waterslide, marina and playground make the Polynesian a family favorite. Kids can join in the adventures of Peter Pan at the Neverland Club, an entertaining child-care facility  including buffet dinner, toys and games in a themed area.

Dining options include 'Ohana, located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House, featuring a character breakfast and a family-style Polynesian feast where meats and seafood are grilled over an open fire pit. The Kona Cafe, a unique family restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, features a dessert finishing station and coffee bar. Sandwiches, ice cream and pizza are available 24 hours a day at Captain Cook’s Snack and Ice Cream Company.
